Edel Tobin

Edel Tobin, Founder and Project Manager of the Waterford Walls Festival, has a passion for re-imagining public spaces. In 2014 Edel founded the New Street Gardens, a pop up garden built on a derelict site in Waterford City centre, with the intention of breathing life and community back into the area. This work paved the way for the Waterford Walls festival, which has exponentially grown year upon year from a small street art event into an internationally recognised festival. Due to the success of Waterford Walls, Edel set up The Walls Project, a creative agency which manages the festival as well as the year round programme of activities.
