Two new Irish artists return to Waterford Walls 2020.

The festival team is delighted to announce the return of two Irish artists to Waterford Walls 2020, which now increases the number of artists to 14 at this years festival.

The two new Irish artists are Shane O’Driscoll and Garreth Joyce. Both artists were awarded funding through the Covid 19 response from the Arts Council of Ireland to produce an artwork responding to the crisis which will now be painted and exhibited at our festival. We are delighted to welcome Shane and Garreth to the festival programme.

The festival team responded very proactively to the challenge of Covid 19 by creating an online series of creative chats – The Power of Urban Art – with International organisations and Irish artists on our Instagram page.

New Waterford Walls art prints featured on the Munster Express.
